1974 - He starts practising Karate.
1975 - He obtains the 3th. prize in the Uruguayan Championship.
1975 - Pre-selection for Japan.
1977 - Uruguayan Open Championship - 2nd. Prize.
1978 - He takes on a course of Karate instructors sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Culture of uruguay, National Physical Education Commission and the National Institute of Physical Education.
1979 - Uruguayan Open Championship - 1° Prize.
1979 - He obtains his Black Belt shodan (1° dan). It was a full examination taken in public, being the only one succesful out of seven people. 1° Kyokushin Black Belt in Uruguay.
1979 - World Open Karate Championship, on the 23, 24 and 25th of November in Tokyo, Japan. Competitor N° 162
1981 - South American Championship, Sao Paulo, Brazil, September the 12th - 4° prize - Competitor N° 10.
1984 - World Open Karate Championship, Japan. January the 20, 21 and 22nd Competitor N° 55.
1986 - Inter Style Championship, October. 1° prize.
1987 - January, Classification Training for South American Championship; Chile, 1° prize.
1987 - Uruguayan Tournament, August, 3° prize.
1987 - He obtains his Black Belt Nidan (2° Dan).
1987 - He travels to Paraguay to found a karate school.
1987 - September, South American Championship, Chile.
1987 - World Open Karate Championship. 6, 7 and 8th of November in Tokyo, Japan. Competitor N° 145.
1991 - January he travels to the U.S.A to train with Soshu Oyama.
1991 - He organizes and presides four Oyama Karate Tournaments in Uruguay.
1992 - February he travel to U.S.A to train with soshu Oyama.
1993 - He organizes and presides the May and July tournaments.
1993 - September, the 11th he organizes an important tornament counting with the presence of Soshu oyama, having a full house at the Atenas Club (aprox. One thousand people).
1993 - He gets his 3° Dan from Soshu Oyama. At the same time Soshu takes exam to a number of young men, leaving ten new Black Belts 1° Dan .
1994 - In September he takes a trip to U.S.A. To Soshu Oyama's Dojo and takes part in an important tournament, in wich also participateteachers and students from greece, holland, Japan, Belgium, Canada, Russia, etc.
1995 - He organizes two tournaments of Oyama Karate and third tournament in the Cordon Club with the presence of Soshu Oyama attended by a large crowd of people at the galleries.
1995 - He gets his 4° Dan approved by Soshu Oyama who also examinede Shihan Suárez's students, leaving four young 2° Dan and sixteen Black belts 1° Dan.
1996 - He offers two Oyama Karate Tournaments in Montevideo.
1996 - In September he travels to U.S.A with two students to compete at the World Oyama Karate Tournament. In that opportunity the uruguayan delegation caused a very good impression to the other delegations particulary for the excellent technique and strong spirit demostrated. Proof of that, the number of invitations received to tournaments in Canada, Holland and Russia.
1997 - He organizes two tournaments of Oyama Karate in Montevideo and supervises a tournament in the city of Treinta y tres.
1997 - In October he receives Soshu Oyama in Uruguay and presents thirty Black belts in action, being this exam of Shihan Suárez's students classified as excellent.
1998 - October, trip to U.S.A to present two students at the World Oyama Karate Tournament in New York. He is named by Soshu Oyama , Shihan and by doing so he becomes one of the five Shihan throughout the world wich is a very important title at all internacional levels.
1998 - December, Tournament at Chuy - Rocha.
1999 - Organizes two tournaments in Montevideo.
1999 - He receives the visit of Soshu Oyama in Uruguay, who will take exams for 1°, 2°, 3° and 4° Dan, also will attend an important tournament.
1999 - December the 12th - National tournament is held at Chuy - Rocha, participants are: Treinta y Tres, Paysandú, Minas, Rocha, Colonia, Maldonado and Montevideo.
2000 - Four Tournaments are held in Montevideo as follows:Euskal Erria - 4th of MarchRentistas Club - 20th of May Cami - 15th of July Euskal Erria - 10th of September
2000 - October the 21st Shihan Suarez takes part with four of his students in the World Open Karate Championship; one of the students stayed for a whole year as Soshu Oyama's uchi deshi at Oyama headquarters. The results of the tournament are as follows: One second place in Heavy Weight Category One second place in Womens division One second place in kata for Black belt only.Besides, two students were examined by Soshu oyama himself and obtained their 2nd Dan with satisfactory results. Soshu Oyama is invited to visit Uruguay on September 2001. 2000 – October the 28th He present students at the Kata Championship for Black belts, organized by Kaicho T. Nakamura en New York - in New York – USA .
2001 – September the 15th Organized a International Open Tournament in the Club Cordon, Montevideo – Uruguay-
In October received to Soshu Oyama in Uruguay.-
November the 19th presents competitors in the Brazilian Championship of Kakuto Karate in San Pablo, Brazil
2002 –In April 28th, presents competitors in the "The Ultimate Challenge" in Alabama - USA.
2002 – In April 27th, presents competitors in the "The Ultimate Challenge" in Alabama - USA. 2003 – In November the 16th, presents competitors in the 5th the Brazilian Championship of Kakuto Karate in Congonhas - Minas Gerais - Brazil.
2004 – In June the 26th, presents competitors in the "1st U.S. Kyokushin Battle" Miami – USA. The tournament was classificatory for the 7th World open Kyukushin Karate Tournament in Japan.
2004 – In November 27th and 28th presents competitors in the World open Kyukushin Karate Tournament in Isesaki - Japan.
2005 – In October the 29th, Cordoba - Argentina, presents competitors in the Sudamerican Championship of Kyokushin karate Matsushima.
